Course Overview

The first section of the Diploma course focuses on Governance and Ethics. Here, you will learn how business and ethics co-exist within a globally competitive market and also gain an understanding of the relationship between corporate governance and social responsibility. The second portion of the programme concerns Business Law. The law underpins every aspect of business practice, and this certificate module will challenge you to develop a sound understanding of legal systems, and how to identify and apply fundamental legal concepts across a full range of business scenarios. Finally, you will complete your studies by working through the Policy Issues in the Global Economy module which will the develop relevant knowledge and skills applicable to topics including international trade, investment and financial movements, migration of peoples, immigration, and the world financial crisis.

You will be formally assessed once during the programme, which will consist of a written report of up to 3,500 words. Completing this assignment to a satisfactory standard is a mandatory requirement.
